Traditional Chinese Medicine

TCM is a system of primary health care that includes acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, remedial massage, exercise and breathing therapies and diet and lifestyle advice. As a natural form of healing, acupuncture offers you the following benefits:

• Provides a holistic approach to the treatment of disease and illness.

• Assists in the prevention against disease and illness as well as the maintenance of general wellbeing.

• Effectively treats a wide range of acute and chronic ailments.

• Treats the underlying cause of disease, illness and imbalance as well as the symptoms.

• Provides drug-free pain relief.

There are many individual styles and techniques used by the acupuncturist. I tend to use a very gentle technique and find that, even people who are normally afraid of needles feel comfortable with the treatment and really look forward to their next session.

Hypnotherapy

The hypnotic or trance state is a perfectly naturally occurring state often experienced when we are daydreaming or watching television.

It is simply an altered state of consciousness where our focus of attention is taken away from our conscious mind and diverted to our subconscious.

While in this state you are focused on what the hypnotherapist is saying and you are accessing at a subconscious level anything that may assist in your healing, whether it be on a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level.

This allows you to play a very important role in taking charge of your life, providing an opportunity for change in many aspects of your life, including your health, relationships, work and self confidence.
When you have hypnotherapy, you access a way to come to know your true self and in so doing, to let go of and resolve many things that may be holding you back from your full potential.

You will find more information about hypnotherapy on the first track of my self-hypnosis CD.

Intuitive Healing

I have studied many healing techniques over the years, including emotional release techniques, balancing of the energy centres or chakras, hands on healing, clearing of old programming and belief patterns, muscle testing and spiritual healing.

I find now, that as I am working with a client, I simply ‘know’ what is needed for their healing at that point in time, whether it be holding my hand gently over an energy centre or ‘tapping’ a particular area of the body, communicating specific words or images, describing the healing as I see it taking place within and around their body, or silently supporting them as the healing unfolds.

The more open and receptive the client can be to the healing, the more beneficial the results.

The most powerful healings take place when we can tune in to whatever is needed at the time and then trust and allow the healing to take place, acknowledging the changes as we experience them.
